How to get insured at U Stores

    Go to the counter and present one (1) valid ID.

    NOTE: A U account is required to avail SunPanalo insurance plans. If you want to avail SunPanalo insurance, present your U account number; if a new customer, you will need to present your valid ID and your details to create a U account.

    Pay the insurance rate for the plan you selected.

    Get your printed Policy document. You will need this to claim your benefits.

    How to get insured using
    the U Mobile App

    Login or sign up for a new account using the U Mobile App.

    Go to your dashboard.

    Under "Services", click View All.
    4 .
    Click Budget Insurance.
    5 .
    On the screen, you can see your Active Insurance plans.To avail of a new plan, you can click "+ Add more insurance", or toggle "Get Insured" beside the Active Insurance button and select the insurance plan youwant to avail. Click Next.

    Enter the following details:

    • Beneficiary details
    • Start of coverage
    • Insurance type - You will see the amount when you select your preferred option.

    Click next to proceed to the transaction page. Your payment will be deducted from your U Mobile e- wallet balance.

    If your balance is insufficient, you may cash-in your U Mobile e-wallet via Instapay, or in any U Store branch nationwide.

    You can now see the insurance plan you just availed under Active Insurance.

    To avail of the benefits under your active insurance plan, just go to any U Store branch and present your Policy document together with the following requirements:

    • CDC Number issued upon purchase
    • One (1) valid ID
    • Police Report (for accident insurance claims)
    • Death Certificate (for life and accident insurance claims)
    • Hospital Official Receipt (OR) (for DengueGuard claims)
    • Attending physician statement
    • Other supporting documents
