How to receive your international remittance in U Stores

  1. 1 .
    Go to any U Store branch.
  2. 2 .

    Present your valid ID and Money Transaction Control Number (MTCN) (may also be referred to as Transaction Reference Number or Control Number). The MTCN is the unique reference number provided to you by the sender.

  3. 3 .
    For new customers: the Front Line Associate (FLA) will get your details for registration.
  4. 4 .
    For existing U customers: the FLA will retrieve the remittance details from the Control Number you have provided and your receiver details from our records.
  5. 5 .
    Provide your signature through a digital tablet as proof that you have received the remittance. This will serve as the proof of transaction.

How to receive money using the U Mobile App

  1. 1 .
    In the dashboard, click Receive.
  2. 2 .
    Select the Remittance Partner from the list.
  3. 3 .
    Enter the Money Transaction Control Number (MTCN) (may also be referred as Transaction Reference Number or Control Number) provided to you by the sender.
  4. 4 .
    Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number for verification.
  5. 5 .
    Enter the following details:
    • Sender's Name
    • Relation to ender
    • Source of funds and purpose of transaction
    • Amount to receive
  6. 6 .
    Your remittance will be credited to your U Mobile Wallet.
